Finger DJ

Just been sent this link to the finger DJ, and it brought back memory's of Finger mouse. For those of you who have never heard of Finger Mouse...

Finger Mouse: Originally "Fingerbobs" and presented by a Canadian, Yoffy (aka Rick Jones), who had exceptionally long hair and a top beard. He wouldn't have looked out of place on Open University. Also appearing were a seagul called Gulliver, a shrimp called Scampy and a tortoise called Flash.

Fingermouse reappeared as an English version that I'm afraid just wasn't up to the job which was presented by Ian Lauchlan and Jane Hardy whilst on they're days off from Play School. Every week Fingermouse would be learning a new musical instrument, clever buggers these mice.

As well as it's bizarre intro tune...

YUFFY LIFTS A FINGER - AND A MOUSE IS THERE.
PUTS HIS HANDS TOGETHER AND A SEAGULL TAKES THE AIR.
YUFFY LIFTS A FINGER AND A SCAMPIE DIVES ABOUT.
YUFFY BENDS ANOTHER AND A TORTOISE HEAD PEEPS OUT.
THESE HANDS WERE MADE FOR MAKING AND MAKING THEY WILL DO.

That really is quite odd.

It was from a time when hippies walked the earth. I think they had something to do with it.
