US PVR users are up in arms over the fact that they now suspect they some sort of flag is being broadcast which disables the fast forward function of the Comcast HD-DVR, for recordings of American idol, but other uses have also reported problems with other shows such as 24.

This is a documented bug in the PVR. SA has a fix for it. People having this problem should get a replacement box with the newer firmware.
