League of Legends

Ok So I been playing League of Legends for a few months now and hit level 30 the other week and I love it!

Which I dont say about many things, now for the rub, If i can refer 25 peeps who play till level 5 I can get a free skin (change the way my char looks but not the stats).

LOL is free to play, and you can not pay to win which is good, cash only buys you new skins, something I thought I would never do, but have since ended up buying two.

cottontail teemo, above

and full metal rammus

Now Skins dont make you grate at the game, but one thing i and many others have noticed is that if you have game with people who have skins V a team with out skins then the skins team tends to win. This has nothing to do with having skins i think its just that the people with them tend to comit more to the game and have decided to invest cash into a free game.

IF you fancey giving it a go for FREE! please use my link below to sign up.

Puppy, tests for diabetes

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-sussex-18528228

I just wounder how many helper dogs we will end up with, they seem to be an ever growing thing in the UK these days. Not that is a bad thing, it is just that as a nation of dog lovers we are incredible anti dog, You can not take your dog in any shops in England, OK you might get away with it in sweet shop or a chippy but they are prity much banned from every where else.

On the other hand while holidaying in Austria or other parts of Europe i have taken my dog in to restaurants shops and all sorts no problem. I think we will need to change our anti dog cloture if things are to improve for help dogs.

Magicka

Get Your Robes Ready!

Indeed got to say i love Magicka Plus (PC CD) The fun dubbing that make it sound fantasy and Swedish at the same time. Thou i am stuck on the 3rd level, some times the game can be maddening!

  • Innovative and dynamic spellcasting system with thousands of possible combinations
  • Up to four-player co-op in all game modes, as well as a single-player option
  • Fight your way through 13 different levels in the campaign
  • Explore an expansive realm of adventure to defeat the evil wizard
  • Find and unlock challenges, items, and powerful Magicks
  • Experience the parody and satire of a clichéd fantasy world
I highly recommend it!

Why?

Thieves have stolen a metal plaque erected in memory of two young boys who were killed when an IRA bomb went off in Warrington in Cheshire.

Are people really that desprate that need to steal plaques for dead children? Who would even buy it off them, I can not belive that any one would buy it, unless burried out of site at the bottom of a pile.

Evening Star's rare path across the sun

In 1772, the French astronomer royal, César-Francois Cassini de Thury, wrote: "It won't be until 2012 that the transit of Venus will be nearly as advantageous as it was in 1769." Well, it is 2012 now. Go to a hardware store and buy yourself a sliver of shade 14 welding glass. Then, on 5 or 6 June, without having to take any of the risks faced by 18th-century astronomers, witness from your doorstep one of the great wonders of the scientific world: the last transit of Venus of the 21st century.
It will be a Long, Long time after I am dead before this happens again, this is probley most peoples only chance to see this, The next transits will be in 2117 & 2125.

MP's Should get regional pay too!

If the government pursues its regional/local pay policy then it must introduce it for MPs before other public sector workers

Responsible department: Her Majesty's Treasury

If the government decides to go ahead with regional/local pay it must lead by example by introducing it for MPs before other public sector workers.

The introduction of regional/local pay will lead to a flow of income from our taxation (which pays public sector workers) out of the regions; a flow of ambitious, skilled individuals out of the regions; a two class system where, for example teachers (and therefore the children they teach) in the NE will be seen as less valuable than teachers in the SE; and a fall in prosperity in the regions.
The government should stop pursuing the implementation of local/regional pay for public sector workers. If the government decides to persist it should demonstrate its belief in its merits, fairness and workability by introducing it for MPs.

So I have been thinking of getting a Kindle Fire since I saw a friends and my parnter said they would get me one, but I know I would just end up jail brakeing it and living in England there is problem of getting one, unless some one I know goes "State Side" for a holiday.

I have been reading the reviews a depeding what your expectations are for $199 USD which is about £160 its not like you can fault it on price.

Been readin the Engadget review, they seem to like it for the price, still not sure yet, any one in the UK got one and jail broken it?

Catholic church urges pupils to sign anti-gay marriage petition

The Roman Catholic church has written to every state-funded Catholic secondary school in England and Wales asking them to encourage pupils to sign a petition against gay marriage.
Why O why, are they doing this, don't they know the damage they are doing to the poor kids who are in school who are gay, and having to sit through that crap, its time we stopped funding these schools. At one point religions funded their own schools, but now we pay for them, but they still get to dictate what is taught in those schools. Its time to stop it, just like reserved seats for bishops in the House of lords its an idea that has had its time and its time all these school where just made in to ordinary comps with no religious affiliation.
