Over on reality bytes, they have come up with a new term Shufflecasting,

Shufflecasting: shuffle, of the sort previously associated with CD players, now with the iPod Shuffle), applied to podcasting.

I was quite frankly surprised to find no mention of "shufflecasting" in Google, talkbacks associated with definitions of "podcasting," or anywhere else; colour me tickled to find myself coining the term.

I don't see it taking off, personally, but then again as long as there is not to much extra effort involved for podcasters to make it available. Reading the comments on the site thou other's seem to think it could take off.
