Voting With Their Feet

Some of you may remember the reports that after BUSH won the election the number of hits to the office Canadian emigration website, from the USA jumped by 10 fold.

In the Niagara of liberal angst just after Bush's victory on Nov. 2, the Canadian government's immigration Web site reported a surge in inquiries from the United States, to about 115,000 a day from 20,000.

Well now there are estimates that up to 18,000 people could actually emigrate from the USA to Canada. I say good luck to them after all if you don't get your own way leave.

"We're still not talking about a huge movement of people," said David Cohen, an immigration lawyer in Montreal. "In 2003, the last year where full statistics are available, there were something like 6,000 U.S. citizens who received permanent resident status in Canada. So even if we do go up threefold this year, we're only talking about 18,000 people."

This does how ever raise a bigger issue what happens if all the democrats leave the USA?

Will it end up a backwards country that still believes in god with laws based on the bible?

If all the democrat's go who will be the voice of reason?

Now you an I know there is no way all the democrat's are going to leave the USA, but if many do will they ever get enuth votes to get reelected? Or will this map become true?
