I must admit I my self am tempted by a Mac mini, after all download a film off the net, then take it downstairs and plug it into the TV to watch it.
Apple's biggest problem how ever is that the reason most homes have a PC may be for the internet but number 2 is games and you can not play games on a MAC, well you can but no one makes them at least none that you would want.
Until they can get the latest games made for Mac's they will be at a disadvantage. After all I could quite easily change that apple in the quote above to Firefox and Norton, which are a lot cheaper than a new Mac.
